My Clever Mama
My mom (Scarlett's Gigi) is the most generous, talented and energetic person I know. This rare combination of attributes makes her hands down the best gift giver around. She is especially doting on her grandkids. She's already made a couple blankets for Scarlett, a diaper bag (which is technically for me, but I'm not the one in diapers...yet), a wiper cozy, a quilt that hangs on Scarlett's wall...the list goes on. She also knits hats and sweaters and appliques bibs and onesies. My mom impresses me to no end. Here are a couple of the most recent onesies Gigi has made for for our little boo:

I could not agree more about your Clever Mama! She amazes me actually. She visited me recently in Florida arriving with one of her wonderful quilted bags (designed and made especially for me), most would have left it there....but not your clever mama!!! By the time she left, my master bedroom had been transformed, we had put on a luncheon for my husband's birthday...never to be forgotten as her thankyou note was a collage of pictures from her trip but most of all she had lightened my heart and lifted my spirit.
By the way, your clever mama has one cute grandbaby in her life!! She otta be in pictures. Susie
Thanks, Susie! I saw photos of your bedroom after you two painted and it looks fantastic. And I heard the lunch for your husband was a success - I made the salmon pie for our Easter brunch and it was delicious!

Who wrote the cloth animal book she's reading? Um. I dunno. Let me check... the book is called 'Jungly Tales' and it's by Anne Wilkinson.
