6 Months!

And what a wonderful six months it's been!  We are so proud of our little boo.  She is the light of our lives and we love to watch her grow.  Right now Scarlett is a grabbing fool!  She loves faces and hair and just about anything she can get her little hands on.   A couple weeks ago she started to roll over from her back to her stomach while swaddled, which meant we had to quickly wean her off the swaddle.  We went from one arm out, to two arms out with the swaddle under her armpits and now she is sleeping soundly in her sleep sack!  Another new stage we've entered is solid food, which is fun.  Scarlett was not a fan at first and seemed pretty annoyed by the whole thing, but now she really seems to be liking it.  Sure, most of it ends up on her face, but we're working it!

We were told by our pediatrician to use a sippy cup to give Scarlett water, but she much prefers drinking out of a regular cup.  She gets all excited and actually knows what to do!  It's so cute to watch.  Anyway!  Next up is buying an official high chair AND and an official stroller!  Our little boohead is growing up.  

Kevary

My cousin Kevin and his wife Mary came for a visit this past weekend.  They wanted to meet Scarlett, which worked out really well for me because I love those two chuckleheads.  We had lots of fun doing not much of anything really - we caught up, hung out, vegged out, ate chocolates, caught phrases, dropped chalupas.  I miss them.  

Kevin brought Scarlett a super cute hat and sweatshirt from the school where he works.  Thanks, Kev!  Go Lutes!

The Amazing Gigi

Okay, so here's the story - I emailed a picture of a baby hat to my mom because I thought it was cute.  A couple days later she made it and shipped it and now it sits upon Scarlett's sweet head.  

How does she do it???

Catnap

Since Scarlett still sleeps in our room (though hopefully not for long!), her crib in her room has become a dumping ground for homeless baby items.  We have tried to make it clear to Rocky that he is not a homeless baby item and therefore is not allowed in the crib, but he is a stubborn little fellow.  Can you spot the bad boy?

Apparently My Brest Friend is now his best friend, which is fine by me.  I much prefer the Boppy.

Loving the feets

Scarlett discovered her feet last week and now they're her favorite toy!  It's so convenient that they come with her everywhere she goes.
