Breakfast with Ronin

Scarlett and I met my brother, Zane, and his son Ronin for breakfast the other day. We're lucky to live so close to them. Ronin is such a good kid and he's super duper smart. I swear that little boy has the vocabulary and language skills of a four year old and he's barely two! He can identify animals like "polar bear" and "koala bear" and can sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. I'm pretty sure he can also count to ten. He's also a professional tennis player. And as we ate breakfast he did my taxes. Yeah, he's that smart.

They're such sweethearts! It is honestly just a priceless thing to have family close by close to Scarlett's age. I'm much older than my cousins but my sister grew up hanging out with them all the time and they always have SUCH a good time together. Scarlett's a lucky girl :)

Thanks for stopping by, Beckie!

Yes, Scarlett is definitely a lucky girl. There's nothing better than living close to family. Just wished more of them lived closer! :)
